Yeah, yeah, I know ‘town’ and ‘phone’ don’t rhyme (although they do a little bit if done in a Brummie accent) but I thought that was a pretty cool title and I couldn’t think of anything else.

Apologies for the lack of content over the weekend. One or two technical issues here at The Scarf My Father Wore HQ. I think Substack have implemented a few updates to the platform, but it means I’m having difficulty accessing the dashboard on my mobile phone for some reason. I’ve managed to use a computer today, as I wanted to share my 25 photos from Friday night, as County beat Peterborough 2-1 to cement their place in League One’s top five for Christmas. How long we’ll stay there now Louie Barry’s leaving us is another matter…

I also wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of our readers, writers, advertisers and subscribers, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (I’m getting this in now just in case I can’t fix the problem on my mobile phone, as I’m going home for Christmas now and won’t be back for a few days). A huge thank you from me for all your support this year. I’m sure I’ll see many of you in the away ends at Huddersfield and Rotherham over the coming days; the rest I’ll say hello to on the first day of 2025, as Birmingham come to town hoping to spoil Louie Barry’s leaving bash.
