On a scale of 1 to 10, how much of a pain in the arse is the early 12.30pm kick-off?

For me personally it’s a solid 11; a boil-on-my-arse pain. An early EP kick-off means another game watching from some exotic island on the TV as finishing work at 3am and then getting up for 5am to travel from Lowestoft just isn’t going to work for myself and Toby. For the wider County fanbase I can see many fans not liking it as supporters are very much creators of habit and routine. We like our pre-match rituals meeting up for a pint before walking up to Edgeley and we don’t like change, especially if that’s in our kick-off times or the supplier of pies.

Newcastle are into the League Cup final. County are sitting comfortably in 4th. What’s the chances of a Wembley double in the Geordie Hatter household this season?

Chances of that household double? Right now with our Hatters already looking capable of putting a run together even before the eye-catching deadline-day business down at Carrington, I'd rate us as little short of racing certainties for a Wembley visit. The Magpies on the other hand? Well put it this way, there's a good reason the entire Geordie Nation were 90-minute converts to the gospel of Ange-Ball Thursday night. With the Anfield men having prevailed in that second semi, the chances of an end to the Tyneside silverware drought look dimmer - but we can dare to hope. And maybe pray. Yes, definitely pray. It's been a long, long time, and we're going to need all the help we can get. Pray for us, please!
