The Streets of Stockport
On Thursday 19 October 2023, The Scarf My Father Wore editor Des Hinks Junior walked all the way from McDonald’s in Heaton Chapel to Disley train station. This was day one of his quest to walk down every single street in Stockport. So far, he’s walked 240.04 miles, taking 392,922 steps, whilst raising £2,302 for Stockport-based mental health charity Mentell.
