NEXT HOME GAME: Huddersfield Town – Monday 21 April, 3pm
NEXT AWAY GAME: Peterborough United – Today, 3pm
Dear County fans, Stopfordians, Peterborough supporters, and anyone else from The Football Family joining us today, a very warm welcome to your Good Friday edition of The Scarf My Father Wore.
County could lose at Peterborough this afternoon and still confirm a play-off place (if Leyton Orient and Bolton both drop points). Three points, however, and our season will definitely be extended, and that’s exactly what Ian Brown, Dan Culverwell and Nick Lee are predicting.
Today’s edition is sponsored by C J Motors Stockport. A big thank you to Connor.
Thanks also to TH Private Hire who sponsor our Peterborough United content on the website.
Finally, I’m currently walking every street in Stockport to raise money for mental health charity Mentell. If you’d like to make a donation to help me reach my target, please click here.

Des Junior loves writing about County. But he can never be arsed doing match previews. They’re a bit dull, aren’t they? Will Collar’s out for a month with diarrhoea… blah blah blah…tomorrow’s referee has handed out more cards than Moonpig…blah blah blah…County haven’t won at Birmingham for a thousand years.
Fortunately, he has a number of fellow County content creators to call upon. Here’s their thoughts, general chit-chat and score predictions, as County visit London Road for the first time since November 2010, when Paul Simpson’s team lost 4-1 in an FA Cup first round replay.

It’s Good Friday today. What will make it a Great Friday for you personally?
A Great Friday would start on the Fingerpost Flyer with a delicious cup of coffee. Our Commemorative Brew in tribute to Lou Spalding went down extremely well with County supporters on the Exeter Flyer, so much so that we’re repeating the service again today and hopefully on the Wycombe Flyer.
The single most important element of my Great Friday upon arrival at London Road, would be being able to watch another top-notch display from County with a full compliment of the available points heading to SK3 as a result.
I fully expect County to win today and win well, and will look to round off a perfect Great Friday with a cheerfully positive match report on the journey back.

Should Dave Challinor have been included in the shortlist for League One’s Manager of the Season?
The problem is that these shortlists are put together weeks before the end of the season, so by the time May comes around they don’t really reflect the true achievements of the campaign.
Considering this is Dave Challinor’s first season managing at this level, I do think his name should be in the discussion for League One’s Manager of the Season. I do wonder that maybe the committee deciding the shortlist thought all our early success was down to the brilliance of Louie Barry and had written us off for the second half of the season. For that reason, it shows why David Paul Challinor is one of the best managers not just in League One but the whole EFL, with the way the team has evolved over the season. Challinor’s managed to find different formations and styles to win games.

County take on the Posh this afternoon. What’s the poshest thing you own?
A copy of Victoria Beckham's debut single “Out Of Your Mind” featuring True Steppers and Dane Bowers.
I was going to say Hannah Brown but she's made it very clear in a number of HR meetings that we are equals and if anything she owns me. Which in hindsight is completely fair.

Make sure you get your car serviced before your next trip
Not everyone travels abroad these days for a holiday. Whether you’re taking your caravan to Cornwall, your motorhome to Margate, or simply packing up your Skoda for a few days in Skegness, make sure you’re on top of your servicing. Don’t be that family stuck on the hard shoulder with their hazard lights on!
Before you go away, get your vehicle booked in for a service with Connor at CJ Motors (opposite The Peel Centre) to avoid any additional stress on your holiday.

Photo of the day
Wembley, London
Utter heartbreak for Danny Bergara’s County side at Wembley in May 1992. Kevin Francis headed a late equaliser, which looked like it’d take the Division Three play-off final to extra-time, but Peterborough went straight up the other end to clinch promotion through Ken Charlery’s lob.
