Des Junior
Des Junior loves writing about County. But he can never be arsed doing match previews. They’re a bit dull, aren’t they? Will Collar’s out for a month with diarrhoea… blah blah blah…tomorrow’s referee has handed out more cards than Moonpig…blah blah blah…County haven’t won at Birmingham for a thousand years.
Fortunately, he has a number of fellow County content creators to call upon. Here’s their thoughts, general chit-chat and score predictions, as County look to bounce back from the Boxing Day defeat at Huddersfield.

Best moment of the season so far?
I’d go for our 3-0 win at Blackpool in the second match of the season. There were a couple of pretty excellent moments within that, late in the game, which was still 0-0 with 20 minutes or so left.
First off Louie Barry gave us one of his classic finishes, drifting inside past a clutch of defenders before halting, turning, and seamlessly beating the keeper with a pearl of a finish to open the scoring. Jayden Fevrier had only been on a few minutes when he added County’s second with six minutes remaining.
Both of the above were fantastic moments, but with time running out Tanto capped a magnificent day out at the seaside for the Blue & White Army, when the ball landed at his feet and he swivelled brilliantly to power an unstoppable shot home. Unforgettable stuff! The away end erupted, and the 3-0 win set us on our way nicely in our first season back in League One.

What’s been your funniest County moment of 2024?
That's quite possibly the hardest question I've ever been asked. At this point I'm quite tempted to just send across a load of screenshots of babbling nonsense from across social media. That said, I'd be hard pressed to suggest anything other than Sarce riding a pony and trap down Greek Street. Just the apex of an iconic few weeks. Honourable mention to Bolton fans being really weird about tickets only for most of them to leave with half an hour to go, as well as the emergence of Birmingham fans as the biggest Twitter oddballs out there.
